Description: A walk along the spectacular coast from Kimmeridge to Worbarrow, taking in Tyneham village. On the way you will learn about the world famous geology of Kimmeridge and Worbarrow Bay.

Have a look round the deserted village of Tyneham, abandoned in December 1943 so Allied troops could train for the D-Day landings. Today it is a poignant reminder of a lost,rural, way of life.

Notes: Some of the walk is across army ranges; stay on the path! Dogs are welcome but must be on leads.

Parking: On cliff top car park at Kimmeridge.  A fee will be payable.

Directions to the Start: Take the road to Kimmeridge from Corfe Castle, continue through the village and take the toll road to the cliff top car park.
