Description: A circular walk from Sandpit Field, following the Art Trail. So many famous artists were inspired to paint in Swanage, placed close to the site, the painting, portrait and biography. The walk includes extra information about the artists depicted, including Augustus John, Paul Nash, Walter Field. A free Art Trail Leaflet with map will be provided or can be downloaded from the website www.swanageseen.co.uk

Notes: An easy walk, starting in Sandpit Field along the seafront, onto the pier, out to Peveril Point, returning by Prince Albert Gardens and on to St Mary’s Church. Generally on pavement but route can be taken along the beach to Peveril Point.
Parking: King George’s Field car park, Swanage (fee payable)
Directions to the Start: Meet at Sandpit Field, above Shore Road, near the Banjo Jetty. The Paul Nash display board is sited just behind the Look Out post. The walk will finish at St Mary’s Church, Church Hill.
