Title: Historic Wareham – FR1

Description: From Wareham’s Discover Purbeck Information Centre in the Library, we will walk east along the north bank of the River Frome to Swineham Point. We then turn left along the south side of the River Piddle to East Walls, along North Walls and down to the River Piddle just west of North Mill. Then along the north bank of the River Piddle to the railway bridge at West Mill, and then return across Wareham Common and by West Walls to the starting point.

Total Ascent: Mainly flat but parts could be muddy or overgrown.

Directions to the Start: The information centre is located in the public library which is a short distance from the Quay on South Street.
